Dev Log 2 (11/18/24)

Hi guys!

Over these past weeks I've finished the streamlining process for our shell characters in that I can use the same scripts for any and all enemies and future player characters we make. (Movement, basic ai, stuff like that)

Right now, I'm finishing up on working out a few bugs in the AI.

Speaking with my partner they will begin work on the initial starting room so we can really get the movement and balance worked out here very soon.

But with all of that we are making some great progress. I'm up to 2500 lines of code and boy do my wrists feel it.

Sorry this isn't a huge update, it's just been a lot of me making the same code yet more streamlined so it hasn't felt like much progress was made. But I know doing things this way with shell characters is going to be a lot simpler.
