STUFFED the game

Image
Thank you to the DEVS for a key to this game, I was not paid for this review. Stuffed is an amazing, COD zombies like first person shooter where you survive 10 waves a night while protecting Ellie's (Your owner's) door.  **Future video to be posted here** The game itself feels very nice, hitboxes seemed to register well, the game feels well balanced. At least for the first few waves. The difficulty seems to be very exponential though as by wave 8 or 9 you start feel very underpowered if you don't plan your journey to the T. Sadly unlike in COD there is no Pack-A-Punch for your weapons, STUFFED deciding to take a leveling route instead. This can be nice unless you dislike rng in your games. STUFFED's leveling system requires you to make your way to the level up station and choose 1 out of 3 different options. It can be anything from Max Ammo to Extra HP. The options can feel very great sometimes where others you feel very let down for all your hard work to level. The mo...

Cryohazard

Image
I was lucky Enough to get a free Key from the devs, I am not paid for this review Cryohazard is a spooky turn based roguelike where you are the conductor of a train. As you go through you navigate a map, unlocking and lore of whats going on in this cursed world.  The game was developed in 6 months by BossyPino .  The music in this game is absolutely a bop. Like in El dorado, I forgot to speak and just vibed to the music a lot while playing this game on YouTube. The artwork is cute but creepy, making immersion very easy. The combat is surprisingly complex for how simple the game is. Each turn you get 1(?) movement and each cart on your train can take 1 action. So if you have 1 enemy on your back car and 1 on your middle car you could shoot the middle car, accelerate, (pushing the middle enemy to the back car, so now you have 2 on your back car) and then shoot the back car. Using these mechanics BossyPino managed to create a surprisingly stressful game. It's very easy to ...

Plumber Survivors

I was lucky Enough to get a free Key from the devs, I am not paid for this review Plumber survivors is a weird game, its a Vampire Survivors-like, Roguelike, plumber game. Where you play as a plumber.  The controls are very simple, the abilities and weapons you unlock are very simple, the music is Copyrighted (The song Rave by Dxrk ダーク slowed and sped up, YouTube copyright did flag it, no actions against my video but flagging it)  The Devs originally didn't have a press kit when I asked them about it, having to upload it afterwards specifically because I asked them too.  I'm not saying this game is an asset flip, but with so many things feeling off about this game, I cannot honestly recommend it to others.  The assets used in the game look like they are made by a bunch of people, for a bunch of different uses. Such as the player model and weapons look like they are from 2 separate games, and even then, the toilets that circle you are clearly made by someon...

El Dorado The Golden City Builder

Image
I was lucky enough to get a copy of  El Dorado: The Golden City Builder  from the devs for free. I am not being paid for this review. El Dorado: The Golden City Builder is a sandbox city building game. The controls and concept are very simple. Build your city to become an empire.  The music in this game is absolutely beautiful, SO many times while recording my video on it I kept forgetting to talk simply because I was vibing to the music.  Honestly I couldn't tell you much about the story, In these types of games I personally forget about the story in favor of the creation of the city.  I didn't encounter any major bugs throughout. The biggest one I encountered was my "move building" button wasn't working. Then suddenly it was. The most interesting feature in this game, the part of it that stands out from all other city builders. Is the Gods. Throughout your journey you must keep track of which god is in season. As the gods need to be worshipped properly a...
